Two arrested in seizure of €100,000 worth of cocaine and cannabis

The seizure was part of an ongoing investigation into the sale and supply of drugs.

GARDAÍ HAVE ARRESTED a man and a woman and seized an amount of drugs as part of an ongoing investigation into the sale and supply of drugs in Cork.

Cocaine and cannabis with an estimated street value of €100,000 was seized when gardaí attached to the Cork City Divisional Drugs Unit searched a car during an operation this afternoon at Main Street, Glenville.

A man and woman, both in their 30s, were arrested at the scene. They are currently detained at Mayfield Garda Station where they can be held for up to seven days.
