Gardaí and Revenue seized €25,000-worth of counterfeit goods outside the Aviva Stadium yesterday.

GARDAÍ AND REVENUE seized €25,000-worth of counterfeit goods which were being sold outside the Aviva Stadium in Dublin, where Manchester United were playing Sampdoria, yesterday.

In total, officers seized 225 hats, 200 placards, 140 flags and 2,220 scarves, which have a combined estimated street value of €25,000.

The sale of counterfeit goods is illegal, but it often happens in Ireland and abroad.

We want to know: Have you ever knowingly bought counterfeit goods?
