Donal Skehan "looking forward to the challenge" of presenting episode of popular BBC cooking show

He recently decamped to the US with his wife Sofie.

DONAL SKEHAN RECENTLY made the move to LA to further his cooking career, but his star is continuing to rise over this side of the world.

He’s set to present an episode of the hugely popular Saturday Kitchen this weekend. The show reaches almost three million viewers each week.

He’ll be joined by chefs Theo Randall and Sabrina Gidda on the episode.

“I’m a huge fan of the show so it’s such an honour,” said Skehan.

I’m absolutely thrilled to be asked to present Saturday Kitchen. It’s a huge show in the UK and Ireland so there is a lot of pressure, but I’m looking forward to the challenge and I’m joined by some great guests who will no doubt make for a brilliant show!

The show, which has been running for over a decade, has featured a number of guest presenters since long-time presenter James Martin finished up in March.

Skehan and his wife Sofie left their Howth home for Los Angeles in mid-February, to see what career moves they could make in the US. It follows Skehan’s work on US site Tastemade, and his partnership with celebrity chef Jamie Oliver’s Foodtube.
