Man and woman arrested as gardaí seize €360k worth of cannabis in Balbriggan

A search was conducted by gardaí tackling organised crime.

GARDAÍ IN DUBLIN have made two arrests following the seizure of a large quantity of cannabis yesterday evening.

Cannabis herb worth an estimated €360,000 was found during a search at a house in Balbriggan.

The operation was carried out by gardaí from the special crime task force and the drugs and organised crime bureau.

A man and a woman, both in their 30s, were arrested at the scene.

They are currently being detained at Balbriggan garda station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.
