'Central server issue' behind Dublin Bus communications problems

Real time passenger info and Dublin Bus phones were experiencing service disruptions earlier.

DUBLIN BUS REAL time passenger updates have resumed service after a server problem affected the system earlier today.

A spokesperson for the company told TheJournal.ie that disruptions were caused by a “central server issue” at CIE, which has been resolved.

The issue affected Dublin Bus communication services for hours today, as the company noted in a series of tweets this morning:
