Dublin Bus hike prepaid ticket prices – with two days’ notice

The bus operator raises prepaid most fares by 5%, effective tomorrow.

DUBLIN BUS has hit commuters with a 5% increase in prepaid ticket prices, effective from tomorrow morning.

Almost all of the service’s pre-paid tickets are affected, with only the cheapest tickets escaping the surprise increase, which was announced just yesterday.

From tomorrow morning, the price of all Adult Rambler tickets, except for the one-day ticket, are increased – as are student five-day tickets.

The adult monthly and annual travelwide tickets, however, are not affected.

The increases also affect the bus and rail combined tickets, and most of the service’s combined bus and Luas tickets.

A full list of the increases can be found at the Dublin Bus website.
