Four arrested, cash & jewellery seized in large-scale Dublin crime crackdown

It follows searches involving several garda units, backed up by the force’s air support unit.

FOUR PEOPLE, AGED between their 20s and 40s, have been arrested following a garda operation in Dublin city this morning.

It follows a number of searches of the Leixlip and Tallaght areas carried out by officers from  Dun Laoghaire and Blackrock, backed up by gardaí from elsewhere in Dublin and the garda helicopter.

The four, three men and one woman, have been taken for questioning to Blackrock, Dundrum and Dun Laoghaire garda stations.

Cash, jewellery, computer items and various financial documents were also seized, gardaí say.

Investigations are continuing.
