A MAN IS being treated in hospital after he was hit by a car on the Stillorgan Road earlier today.
The 85-year-old man was crossing the road when he was hit by a car at around 10am this morning on the N11 dual-carriageway southbound at Stillorgan Park.
He has been taken  to St Vincent’s Hospital where he is receiving treatment.
The N11 southbound has been reduced to two lanes and Gardaà say that delays in the area can be expected as a forensic examination is taking place.
