      Gerard Linehan ran unsuccessfully in the 2007 general election. He will again stand as an Independent in Cork South Central for the forthcoming election. The 55 year old has 3 daughters and lives in Turners Cross, Cork.

      • Appropriate redeployment of surplus staff within the health service and other state bodies
      • The provision of mobile health care specialist, who would visit all areas urban and rural on a regular basis
