Councillor Sean Kenny has been asked to return to the scene of one of his finest triumphs as the Labour Party attempt to win a second seat in Dublin North-East. Kenny's only previous term as a TD came about when he topped the polls there in 1992 and was elected on the first count. Kenny has been active in local politics since for over thirty years, representing the Raheny ward in Dublin City Council since 1979 .
