Bill Tormey

5
Party: Fine Gael
Constituency: Dublin North West

Dr Bill Tormey is one of two Fine Gael candidates set to run in Dublin North West. Tormey has been something of a chameleon over the course of his political career, running unsucessfully as both a Labour and Independent candidate in Dublin North-West before joining Fine Gael to contest the 2004 local elections. Tormey, a consultant in Beaumont and Connolly hospitals, has represented Ballymun-Finglas on Dublin City Council since 2004. He is currently the leader of the Fine Gael group on the council.
