      Fianna Fáil deputy Charlie O'Connor is running for a third term of office as TD for Dublin South-West. O'Connor was first elected to Dublin County Council in 1991 as a representative for Tallaght/Rathcoole. He was elected to Dáil Éireann at his first attempt in 2002, retaining his seat in 2007 when he was re-elected without reaching the quota. O'Connor previously worked as a press officer for the National Youth Federation.



       

      Did you know?

      O'Connor is a former member of the Eastern Health Board and was a founder Chairman of the South Western Area Health Board.
