Constituency: Dublin South

Labour have selected Councillor Aidan Culhane as one of the party's candidates in Dublin South. Culhane, who currently works in the publishing industry as a freelance editor, has been a sitting member of Dun Laoighaire Rathdown County Council since 1999. He was also one of Labour's two candidates in the constituency in 2007 when he was eliminated on the fifth count having secured less than 5 per cent of first-preference votes.
