Constituency: Galway West

Mayor of Galway City Michael Crowe has been nominated as one of Fianna Fáil's three candidates in Galway West. Crowe was elected as an independent councillor for Galway No.1 in 2002 before joining Fianna Fáil ahead of the 2007 general election. Crowe was beaten to the constituency's fifth seat on that occasion by running mate Frank Fahey. He was re-elected to Galway City Council in the 2009 local elections.

    What has been Michael Crowe’s record in voting against the recommendation of the city planning engineers in Galway?
    What are his links to property developers in Galway?
    On the basis of what ability does he put himself forward for election?
