Unemployed Adam, 24, replicates 'Jobless Paddy' billboard stunt to find work

Adam Pacitti, 24, wants a job in the media – and has spent his last £500 on a billboard to attract some offers.

AN UNEMPLOYED media graduate has spent his last £500 renting a billboard to advertise his availability for work, hoping to get a job.

Adam Pacitti, 24, says the billboard he booked in London is the result of frustration at not being able to find work through more conventional means.

The University of Winchester graduate is trying to attract attention for, where he showcases his experience to date.

A video posted to his site reveals that he has previously enjoyed viral online success with ‘The Girl of My Dreams’ – about a sketch he drew of his ideal woman who he met in a dream – and critical acclaim with his documentary ‘Pinfall‘, about his previous professional goal of becoming a professional wrestler.

The inventive scheme is reminiscent of one undertaken by Connemara native Féilim Mac An Iomaire, who in 2011 took out a billboard advertisement on Dublin’s Merrion Road in the hopes of finding a prospective employer.

The ruse worked for the ‘Jobless Paddy’, who three weeks later began a job in the press team for bookmakers Paddy Power.

Pacitti, whose attempt has already been picked up by media around the world, says his dream job would be to work as a TV producer with the BBC.
