Three in court charged with Wexford cannabis haul

Two men and a women have appeared at Wexford District Court following Saturday’s seizure of plants worth €164,000.

TWO MEN AND a woman have appeared before Wexford District Court this morning charged in connection with a seizure of cannabis plants on Saturday.

The three – including a man and woman in their 40s, and another man in his 20s – were arrested after a planned search in a house in Enniscorthy, during which plants with an estimated street value of about €164,000 were recovered.

The planned search was carried out in a house at Glenbrien as part of an ongoing operation into the cultivation of cannabis in the area.

Gardaí were assisted by the Wexford Divisional Drug Unit and the Garda National Drug Unit.
