Search efforts ongoing for missing Dublin men

Eoin O’Connor and Anthony Keegan have been missing since Tuesday.

THE GARDAÍ ARE continuing their search today for two men from Coolock who have not been seen since Tuesday.

The gardaí confirmed that the search for Eoin O’Connor and Anthony Keegan is ongoing in various locations.

Gardaí said they are following every line of inquiry but they are ‘keeping an open mind’ with no discoveries made as of yet.

The car in which the two men were believed to be travelling in was discovered on Friday at Lough Owel near Mullingar. Garda divers were at the scene searching the lake following the discovery.

Gardaí said that following tests carried out on the vehicle, there were no signs of a struggle and no traces of blood in the car were discovered.
