FF TD Galway office vandalised

Noel Treacy’s Galway constituency office has been vandalised.

GARDAÍ ARE INVESTIGATING an act of vandalism on the Galway constituency office of Fianna Fáil TD Noel Treacy.

RTÉ reports that the incident occurred early on Wednesday morning at Cross Street in Athenry.

Deputy Treacy described as the vandalism as “wanton destruction”, and insisted that he would not intimidated. Recently, swear words had also been scrawled across the front of the office.

A few weeks ago, eggs and stones were thrown at the Galway home of another Fianna Fáil TD, Deputy Frank Fahey.

In November, the constituency Minster for Transport Noel Dempsey‘s constituency office in Trim, Co Meath was vandalised. Three windows were smashed in and the word “traitors” was scrawled in spray-paint across the building.
