Seven dogs and six pups die in mysterious shed fire

Police are investigating whether the fire was deliberate.

SEVEN DOGS AND six pups died after a fire broke out in a shed in Enniskillen.

The PSNI is investigating the fire, which occurred at a shed in the Drumcor Road area of Clabby yesterday evening.

Chief Inspector Graham Dodds said:

Police received the report of the fire at approximately 8.15pm. Investigations are ongoing this morning to establish if the fire was started deliberately or not.
This incident is currently being linked to a suspicious object being found in the Clabby Road area on Friday 17 April which turned out to be nothing untoward.

He said that to ensure the protection of the public, there will be increased police patrols in the area.

Anyone with any information on this is asked to contact Enniskillen Police Station on the non-emergency number 101.

Alternatively, information can be given anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
