1. #GROUP OF DEATH: Junior Minister Aodhán Ó Riordáin is the latest Labour electoral casualty after a marathon count in Dublin Bay North.

2. #NEARLY THERE: There are two counts still ongoing, Longford-Westmeath and Dublin South Central, with the latter possibly heading for the courts.

3. #GANGLAND: Investigations are ongoing into the shooting dead of Vinny Ryan, brother of murdered Republican dissident Alan Ryan.

4. #CALAIS: Chaos broke out in the French migrant camp at Calais as police with bulldozers tried to force refugees out of the ‘Jungle’ .

5. #WIRELESS: Dublin Bus drivers are objecting to new rules preventing them from listening to FM radios.
