3. #INVESTIGATION A newborn baby has died at Cavan Hospital, and an investigation has been launched into the situation. Meanwhile, Leo Varadkar met with parents who lost their babies in Portlaoise hospital today.

4. #SUSPENDED The Dáil was suspended twice today, after Taoiseach Enda Kenny told Socialist TDs ‘where to go’. Deputy Roisín Shortall took exception to the remark, asking Kenny to withdraw it.

5. #REFERENDUM The No campaign says that there are thousands of people who are “being silenced” on the issue of the upcoming marriage referendum, and that No campaigners are being characterised as “homophobic bigots”.
