A NUMBER OF homes in East Belfast have been evacuated following a report of a suspicious object being found in the Flora Street area. ATO have been called to the scene and motorists have been advised to seek alternative main routes, as Flora Street is currently closed.

Poll: Have you reduced your alcohol consumption in the past year?
THE AMOUNT OF alcohol consumed in Ireland fell by 4.4 per cent in the last 12 months, while in the past 12 years, it declined by 20 per cent.
“The majority of people in this country consume alcohol in a moderate, responsible manner that is entirely compatible with a healthy lifestyle and in line with European norms,” said Kathryn D’Arcy, director of Alcohol Beverage Federation of Ireland.
Some people can no longer afford to drink alcohol, others could be looking after their health, while many have suggested that the reduction in consumption could be related to emigration rates.
