Four men due in court over Galway drug seizure

The four were arrested on Saturday following the discovery of two cannabis growhouses.

FOUR MEN ARE to appear in court in Galway this morning in relation to a drug seizure in Galway over the weekend.

The four men, three aged in their 20s and one in his 30s, were arrested yesterday following the discovery of two cannabis growhouses in the Oranmore and Mervue areas of Galway.

The cannabis plants have an estimated street value of €730,000 subject to analysis.

The four are due to appear before Galway District Court at 10.30am this morning in connection to the incident.
