Fresh arrest over murder of Ciarán Noonan

Noonan’s body was found in a field in Co Meath more than a week after his disappearance from Dublin’s East Wall.

GARDAÍ HAVE arrested a man in his 20s today in connection with the murder of Ciaran Noonan last year.

Noonan was seen being forced into a car on Russell Avenue on Dublin’s East Wall on 20 October 2011. His body was discovered in a field in Co Meath on 4 November.

Twelve people have been arrested to date by gardaí investigating Noonan’s death.

The man arrested today (the twelfth arrest in the case) is being held at Store Street Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
