Your Thankfully Not A Fallen Tree In Sight For A Change Pic Of The Day

(Don’t worry, that’s not a shark… This is Dingle — it’s Fungie)

KERRY WAS ONE of the areas worst hit in last week’s massive storm — in fact, thousands of people are still without power today after fallen trees brought down power cables all over the county.

This week’s improved weather conditions should make life a little easier for ESB Networks crews as the reconnection effort continues.

It’s also good news for mid-term break Fungie watchers — as the photo here from Jeannine Masset and Rudi Schamhart clearly shows (that’s the nation’s favourite dolphin in the right of the picture, in case you haven’t spotted him yet).

As, Jeannine posted on the pair’s Facebook page:

Oh what a day… such a delight after all those storms, to have a day like this.. Sunny, calm and with this fantastic rainbow over Dingle…. and Fungie taking it easy for a while.

Check out Jeannine and Rudi’s page dedicated to all things Dingle-dolphin related for more pictures of the age-defying mammal at play in the post-storm weather…
