Cars seized on drivers seven times over drink driving limit and with no licence

Gardaí have seized cars of motorists caught drunk and with drugs in their system.

GARDAÍ HAVE BEEN out in force clamping down on drink and drug drivers today.

One car was seized in Temple Bar, Dublin as the driver was seven times over the legal limit.

Officers also reported that the motorist had no tax or NCT.

In Galway, a driver with no driving licence was arrested for drunk and dangerous driving. They also had no insurance. The car was seized by gardaí.

And in Portlaoise, a driver who tested positive for cannabis was arrested earlier today.
