Gardaí arrest man in connection with the murder of Vincent Ryan

A man in his early 30s is being held on suspicion of withholding information about the murder.

GARDAÍ IN DUBLIN have arrested a man in connection with the murder of Vincent Ryan.

A man in his early 30s was arrested in the north of the city earlier this evening and is currently being held at Finglas Garda Station under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.

He can be held for three days.

It is understood he is being held on suspicion of withholding information about the murder of Vincent Ryan.

The 25-year-old was shot dead in a car outside his partner’s house on McKee Road in Finglas in February of this year.

His brother Alan had been a prominent member of the Real IRA who was murdered in 2012.

In March, four men and a woman were arrested in connection with the murder.

To date no one has been charged.
