Gardaí called to site of serious accident on M7

There are massive tailbacks outside Naas this lunchtime after a significant road accident.

THERE ARE MASSIVE traffic tailbacks outside Naas this lunchtime after a significant road accident took place on one of the country’s main roads.

Gardaí have been called to the site of the accident, which took place near the Curragh junction, Junction 11,  on the M7 motorway just south of Naas.

There is a 6km traffic tailback, and the M7 southbound has been reduced to one lane.

Motorists in the area have been advised to take care, or to try alternative routes – like this one suggested by reader Jim Daly.
