Missing

72-year-old Breda Delaney hasn't been seen in over a week

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses that might have been in the area at the time.

GARDAÍ HAVE REISSUED their appeal for missing woman Breda Delaney.

She was last seen last Saturday 11 July at her home in Avondale Court, Blackrock, Co Dublin at around 3.30am.

The 72-year-old is described as being around 5′ 4” in height with a slight build and with blonde/ grey hair and blue eyes.

Gardaí specifically want to speak to anyone who was in the vicinity of Blackrock Village between the hours of 3am and 8am on last Saturday.

They are appealing for anyone who might have seen a woman matching the above description wearing a black hooded three-quarter length duffel-type coat and black gloves.

Gardaí are also asking to speak with anyone who was on the raiway footbridge that gives access to the Blackrock Train Station or on the seafront close to the railway bridge at around 10am on Saturday 11 July.
