Poll: Is it okay for George Hook to talk about 'wondrous orbs' on morning radio?

George had the nation talking this week, as he read from his erotic fiction. But was it appropriate?

THE TEXT-LINE RESPONSE was, according to RTÉ, ’50:50′: some people quite enjoyed George Hook reading extracts from his first foray into erotic fiction on the Brendan O’Connor Show on Tuesday morning.

Others weren’t so happy, however. There were warnings from the host – but perhaps it wasn’t the best choice of material for that time of the day.

Two complaints have been logged by the broadcaster’s information department and it’s understood an internal review into the segment is now under way at the programme. (In case you didn’t hear it, you can bone-up on the whole affair here).

What do you reckon?

Poll Results:

I couldn't care less. (1599)
Not appropriate for that time. (1386)
What's the harm. (1235)
