GARDAÍ IN DUBLIN have arrested two men in relation to the fatal stabbing of 28-year-old father-of-one Gerard Burnett last August.

Burnett was stabbed multiple times during an altercation outside his house in Mulhuddart on 21 August. A 20-year-old man has already been charged in connection with the murder investigation.

It was understood that the investigation was focussing on three men who called to the victim’s house in Castlecurragh Vale before the incident occurred. The attackers escaped on foot.

The victim’s partner and young son fled the scene.
