Poll: Do you put off going to the dentist?

Nearly one third of people are putting off going to the dentist because of the cost. Do you put off going?

ACCORDING TO THE Irish Dental Association, almost one third of people are putting off going to the dentist because of the cost.

In addition to (or perhaps because of) this, three quarters of dentists reported that they have seen an increase in the number of patients who now arrive in pain.

This has, in turn, led to an increase in the number of extractions being performed.

So we were wondering. Do you put off going to the dentist and, if so, why?

Poll Results:

I don't go because of the cost (1577)
I don't go because I'm afraid (1468)
I generally go when I'm supposed to (580)
I don't go for other reasons (490)
