Teenager arrested with three kilos of heroin in his backpack

The drugs have an estimated street value of €420,000.

A TEENAGE BOY has been arrested after being found with over €400,000 worth of heroin in his backpack.

The boy was arrested at Coultry Park in Ballymun after gardaí stopped and searched him.

The gardaí stopped him around 3.30pm and found around three kilos of heroin in the bag.

The drugs have an estimated street value of €420,000.

The boy is being detained at Ballymun Garda station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking Act) 1996.
