GARDAÍ IN DUBLIN have charged a 27-year-old man in connection with a heroin seizure earlier today.

The man will appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice, Parkgate St at 10.30am tomorrow in connection with the seizure of €500,000 worth of heroin.

As part of an intelligence-led operation targeting the sale and supply of drugs, gardaí carried out a planned search yesterday evening of a house in the Crumlin area.

During the search, they found heroin with an estimated street value of up to €500,000 and mixing agent, which would be used to make crack cocaine.
