Poll: Do you get an hour's exercise every day?

A new study shows that office workers must cycle, run or walk briskly for around an hour to offset the debilitating effects of a desk job.

WE’RE ALL BECOMING a little more health-conscious, and a new study shows that office workers must exercise one hour a day to offset the debilitating effects of a 9-5 desk job.

The results show that one hour a day of physical activity, such as brisk walking, cycling for leisure or jogging can help negate the bad effects of sitting down for more than eight hours a day.

People who sat for long hours and were inactive had the highest risk of death, acording to the research, published today in medical journal The Lancet.

With that in mind – do you get an hour’s exercise every day?
