YOKO ONO CONTINUES to spread a message that was so dear to her late husband John Lennon.
Plain, dramatic and effective advertising was used by the couple back in the late 1960s with their song Happy Xmas (War is Over) and today’s ad in the New York Times evokes memories of those billboards.
It also directs readers to her website, Imagine Peace.

Paddy Murphy 01/01/13 Report this commentWell she’s only dedicating her life to try help establish World Peace Paul. Going by the comments above she has to help people on the street, join the army for a few years, cut all ties with John lennons name and be more productive with her time before some lads and lassies are happy.
I’d imagine this is what the four commenters do with their lives or they’d hardly judge her so quickly . Fair play guys well done

Dhakina's Sword 02/01/13 Report this commentIf you can’t imagine peace, then it’s unlikely that you will ever achieve it. Imagination is one of the key features of humankind, that allows us to think of alternative realities to the one that we currently exist within. Without imagination, we would be doomed to repeat the mistakes of the past. Yet somehow, even with our imagination intact, we still seem to be repeating those very same mistakes. It seems that our ability to be creative and imaginative, is not enough to repel the parasitical elements within our societies. Give peace a second chance.

Tomy Iona 02/01/13 Report this commentSeeing that Chuck Norris is “Celebrity Spokesperson” for the NRA I’m not sure he’d be the ideal candidate for trying to imagine peace.
We need a new candidate for the chuck norris jokes. I’m sure people can imagine a more suitable character than that dope.
