    Tax revenue for 2009 was down €7.7bn on 2008, to €33.043bn.

    A €390m contract was agreed for the National Convention Centre in Dublin, despite lower bids being made to the government. The report says the high price outweighs the economic benefits of the centre for the next 25 years.
