AS THE FLEADH Cheoil na hÉireann enters its final days, thousands of people continue to gather in Cavan to celebrate traditional Irish music.
While some are simply spectators soaking up the atmosphere and enjoying the multitude of gigs, sessions and concerts offered over the ten-day festival, others have travelled from all over the world to compete against their fellow musicians.

Real annoyed…. First time I’ve missed it in 7 years….
As a Cavan native I can definitely say this year was the biggest and best of the 3 years. Fierce bit of craic, can’t wait for the closing tonight. A great success story for Cavan in light of the recent negative Quinn exposure.
