Indian prime minister wears suit with his own name written all over it

That’s not a suit, THIS is a suit.

INDIAN PRIME MINISTER Narendra Modi let his suit do the talking when he met US President Barack Obama yesterday.

On first glance, it looks like a plain navy and gold pinstripe suit, but – upon further inspection – one can see it actually spells out his name: Narendra Damodardas Modi.

India Today quotes a fashion designer as saying the suit would have cost between 80,000-500,000 Rupees (€1,155 – €7,220)

His choice of attire didn’t go down too well, with many labelling it narcissistic.

Suit aside, Modi’s fashion choices for the Obamas’ visit have been more traditional.

Modi isn’t the only world leader to have taken fashion advice from ZZ Top. Remember this?
