Poll: Have you ever bought anything because an 'influencer' posted about it?

Give it to us straight. Be honest.

THE NUMBER OF complaints about influencers promoting products online to the advertising watchdog has been on the rise this year, TheJournal.ie revealed this morning.

The Advertising Standards Authority of Ireland (ASAI) said in January that it had issued new guidelines on the subject, and that it will be keeping an eye on bloggers and online influencers who don’t declare paid-for posts.

More and more, brands and companies are paying ‘influencers’ – who use Snapchat, Instagram and other social media platforms – to help them flog their products in place of traditional advertising outlets.

So today we want to know how influential they actually are.
