Irish teenager sleepwalks off 25-foot hotel balcony… and survives

Ros Casserly had been on holiday, celebrating the end of his leaving certificate.

A TEENAGER IS reported to have sleepwalked off a 25 foot balcony at a hotel in Spain but miraculously survived.

The Irish Daily Mirror and Irish Sun report that Ros Casserly, a 19-year-old dancer, had been on holiday in Spain celebrating the end of his leaving certificate with his friends. He was staying at the Verdermar Apartments in the Majorcan resort of Santa Ponsa when he was spotted by a waitress hanging off a railing but he dropped before she could reach him.

Luckily, Casserly, from Bray in Co Wicklow, survived with only a cut and strained ankle ligaments. “Ros has sleepwalked in the past but he does not do it that often,” his father Derek told the papers.
