Updated: Man charged in relation to shooting dead of Jamie Lindsay

Gardaí launched a murder investigation after Lindsay, 20, was shot dead outside his home in Athy, Co Kildare on 6 April.

A 19-YEAR-OLD male has been charged in relation to the death of Jamie Lindsay in Athy on 6 April.

The male is due to appear at a special sitting of Naas District Court at 8.00pm tonight. Three other people remain in custody.

Three men and one woman were arrested yesterday during a search and arrest operation in Athy and Stradbally. A car was also seized in the operation.

Dublin native Lindsay, 20, was shot dead outside his home in Coney Meadows in the Coneyboro estate in Athy, Co Kildare.
