Four companies create 83 new jobs for Cork and Dublin

The jobs were announced under the Succeed in Ireland Initiative.

THE TAOISEACH, THE Tánaiste and the Minister for Jobs were on hand earlier today to announce 83 new jobs in four companies.

Fifty-five of the new positions are being advertised by engineering company Sound and Sea Technologies which has its European headquarters based in Ringaskiddy in Cork.

The remainder are split between IA Innovation (12) and SMI (10) in Dublin and The Bayne Law Group (6) in Cork.

According to the government, the firms were introduced to Ireland through ConnectIreland, the company responsible for delivering the Succeed in Ireland initiative as part of the Action Plan for Jobs.

“The Succeed in Ireland initiative is a very tangible way for the global diaspora to support job creation in Ireland,” said IDA chief Barry O’Leary at the Global Economic Forum.
