Duchess of Cambridge

Cover girl: Kate Middleton appears on the front of Vogue magazine

It’s to mark 100 years of British Vogue.

BRITAIN’S DUCHESS OF Cambridge Kate Middleton has taken part in her first ever solo magazine photoshoot to mark 100 years of Vogue.

Middleton will appear on the cover of the UK edition of the esteemed fashion magazine in a collaboration with the UK’s National Portrait Gallery.

The photographs were taken by British photographer Josh Olins and were shot in the Norfolk countryside.

The ten-page shoot of Middleton was styled by Vogue’s fashion director and shows her in range of informal wear.

“For me personally it has been a wonderful experience to have had the opportunity to work with her on this, and I am immensely proud of what we have produced,” British Vogue’s editor Alexandra Shulman said of the feature.

Princess Diana appeared on the cover of Vogue on four occasions.
