House-hunting in the real capital? Come to an evening of exclusive tips on buying in Cork

Join us at our Home Series Event on April 11 for buying insights and more.

WONDERING IF BISHOPSTOWN is better value than Douglas? Can’t decide between Ballincollig and Ballinlough? Want to know where Cork’s next ‘must-buy’ location is going to be?

Starting your home-buying journey can be a daunting task, and it can be tricky to find friendly, informed advice and support.

With the help of KBC and Daft.ie, we want to change that. After two successful runs in Dublin, our Home Series Event is headed for the Rebel County.

Join us at Cork City Hall’s Millennium Hall on Wednesday April 11 at 5.45pm for an evening of exclusive market insights based on Daft.ie data, buying tips, and strategic house-viewing advice. (Plus, refreshments and snacks…)

Tickets to the Home Series Event are completely free. All you have to do is register by sending an email with your name and contact details to events@thejournal.ie with the subject line ‘Home Series Event Cork’.

Attendees will also have the chance to try out the groundbreaking VR technology being used to explore properties, as part of the Experience Your World partnership with KBC and TheJournal.ie.

Along with KC from Cork’s RedFM as MC, the speakers on the night will be:

  • Adam Ferguson, Daft.ie, helping you to find the best value neighbourhood for you – with expert market insights based on Daft.ie data
  • Frances Crean, Organised Mayhem, on how to search for and view homes with military precision
  • Anne O’Mahony, Sherry Fitzgerald, on staying one step ahead in the Cork market
  • Sean Michael Collins, Hub Manager, KBC Cork, taking you step-by-step through the mortgage process

Before and after the talks, attendees can enjoy some refreshments and try out a full VR experience. Mortgage experts, and a team from Daft.ie will also be on hand to answer any further questions.

The Home Series Event with Daft.ie and KBC Bank is happening at 5.45pm on Wednesday April 11 at Cork City Hall’s Millennium Hall. Tickets are free. To register, simply send your name, email and phone number to events@thejournal.ie with the subject line ‘Home Series Event Cork’.
