Gardaí release second photo of Kenneth O'Brien as murder investigation intensifies

Kenneth’s dismembered body was recovered from the Grand Canal in Kildare last weekend.

GARDAÍ IN LEIXLIP have released a second photograph of Kenneth O’Brien as the investigation surrounding his murder intensifies.

The Dublin man’s dismembered body was recovered from a suitcase in the Grand Canal at Ardclough, Co Kildare, last Saturday afternoon.

A motive for the crime has not yet been established. While his torso was recovered, the man’s head and limbs have not yet been found.

33-year-old father-of-one Kenneth, from Clondalkin, had only recently returned from Australia where he had worked as a JCB driver and diesel fitter.

He was last seen on Friday evening, 15 January, when he told family that he was going down the country for a job.
