Take That superfan set to see his heroes this Friday after online campaign

Conor Kenny could be set to meet Gary Barlow and the lads on the Late Late Show this Friday.

DUBLIN TEENAGER CONOR Kenny is set to have his dream come true when he sees Take That this Friday.

Earlier in the week after a campaign was launched by Conor’s family for him to meet the band when they appear on the Late Late Show this Friday.

On his 2fm show this morning, Late Late Show presenter Ryan Tubridy offered two tickets to 18-year-old Conor and his sister Fauve.

In messages posted Facebook and Twitter this week, his sister Fauve Kenny appealed in the hope that “somehow, somebody sees this that can arrange for Conor to meet Take That or even just be there next Friday!”

According to his sister, Conor has traveled to Glasgow and Belfast to see Gary Barlow and the boys performing – as well as having attended all of their Dublin shows.

The online appeal came to the attention of Take That members Howard Donald and Gary Barlow, who posted about it on their own Twitter accounts.

All hope appeared to be lost however when the Late Late’s Twitter account stated that in order to attend the show, Conor would have to go through the same online process as everyone else.

Giving Conor’s sister Fauve the tickets on his show this morning, Tubridy said:

“What I will do, and this is 100%, and it’s been really hard to do this, it’s the last show of the year, it’s a really big show on Friday, so somebody’s had to sacrifice their tickets for you, and they’re going to do that to make sure that you’re in the audience on Friday”

We’ll put you and Conor together in the audience… and he’ll be a couple of feet away from the lads. What I’ll say to you is anything after that is a bonus.
