No Flesh Showing in Victorian Clare Pic of the Day

National Library of Ireland has found this pic of Kilkee in its infancy as a seaside resort.

THE NATIONAL LIBRARY of Ireland has brought us this treat of a pic today: an archival image of a summer’s day at Kilkee, Co Clare.

With their buttoned-up ensembles, we’re guessing Kilkee wasn’t experiencing the kind of heatwave at that time that Ireland has gotten used to in the past month.
