Man in his 20s dies in Limerick road crash

The incident occurred on the R515 at Doonmoon, Knocklong, Co Limerick.

A MAN IN his 20s has died following a single car crash in Limerick.

The incident occurred shortly before midnight, at around 11.40pm, last night on the R515 at Doonmoon, Knocklong, Co Limerick.

The driver of the car was fatally injured, and pronounced dead at the scene.

Three passengers in the car, one woman and two men, were taken to Limerick University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Gardaí are investigating the incident.

The R515 between Knocklong and Elton is closed at present.
