THE LITTLE BOY who set off an online manhunt has finally been found.

The young child was pictured wearing a makeshift Argentinian jersey made out of a plastic bag with ’Messi 10′ inscribed on the back, and his situation soon went viral as the internet tried to find him and get the attention of world footballer of the year Lionel Messi himself.
Well, the internet came through once again, and the boy has been identified as five-year-old Murtaza Ahmadi who lives in Afghanistan.
The fan’s cousin Azim Ahmadi posted more photos of the boy online, and soon he was contacted by Messi’s agent to set up a meeting.
The Afghan Football Federation are helping to make the little kid’s dream come true.
CNN spoke to the boy’s father Arif, who said that his brother fashioned the jersey out of a plastic bag ater Murtaza started crying because his family could not afford a real one.
